Universal Wisdom Oracle Cards – Dec 27th, 2011

The Universe

Come, Open the golden doors

And enter the Universe within you.

Eternity exists inside your heart.

This life is but a dream — so don’t take it too seriously.

Listen to the wind, as it blows through the tress, feel it caress your face and feel all of life sway graciously to a universal rhythm.

Be one with the eternal flow of Nature, walk with it, rest within its shelter and allow your heart to heal.

Nature and the Universe will peel away each layer that no longer serves you.

Dwell not in your illusion, which only carries you into darkness, but feel in your heart an eternal glow — the glow of love.

Be at peace with the changing seasons and you will not be left dreaming of summer when winter comes.

Shed your fears and be one with each season in your life.

Graciously accept all that comes and remember that all is the will of the One whose light fills creation.

Ask that God’s will be your purpose, that the nature of the Universe also be yours.

Walk not into the darkness of night without the glow of love in your heart.

Rest your mind and feel the moon’s glow, feel the interconnectedness of all things.

Merge with the spirit of Nature for She will help you transcend all obstacles.

Be one with all, for all is one.

Feel loves flame burn brightly in your heart.

Close your eyes and allow your mind to drift back into time, through the ancient mists, to the beginning.

The further back you go, the closer you will find yourself to the present, for time is but an illusion that masks this eternal moment.

Be still, for within your solitude you shall discover the power of now.

This card is a blessing from the Universe.

Healing Oracle Cards – Nov 23rd, 2011

The healthy person lives

in harmony with nature.

You create harmony by making choices that feel right to both mind and heart.

Consider one choice you need to make today — no matter how insignificant — and make it harmoniously.

The interconnectedness of all life — of humans and the universe; of physical, mental, and spiritual faculties — is a given in most Eastern religions as well as in Native American beliefs and the primal religions of Africa and Australia.

Living in harmony with nature opens the way to environmental responsibility, and to respecting our natural human cycles, which are tied not only to the seasons, but also to our internal clock based on the diurnal rhythm of night and day.

Rising with the sun, going to sleep a few hours after sunset, and eating foods that are locally grown and appropriate to the season are simple ways of attuning to the cycles of nature.

All these spiritual traditions also find a strong link between physical health and spiritual well-being.

The more spiritually centered and balanced you are, the less chance you have to accumulate the stresses that are destructive of the body.

Negative mental states such as anger, jealousy, and dishonesty, which all spiritual traditions teach us to avoid, also cause severe stress and, ultimately, illness.

By healing the mind of its destructive thoughts and impulses, we stand a much better chance of keeping the body whole and healthy.

Eating according to

the season is the secret of health.

Your body knows that all things have their seasons.

The spirit has its seasons, too — spring for rebirth, summer for exploration and growth, autumn for harvesting, and winter for introspection.

Live in the season today.

Both Chinese medicine and Indian Ayurveda maintain the importance of eating different foods that are appropriate for the seasons in which they’re grown and harvested.

In winter, for example, warmth-giving foods that are high in protein and fatty oils protect us from the cold and windy conditions.

So it’s best to eat oranges, bananas, cherries, beets, carrots, squash, nuts; and for nonvegetarian, deep-sea fish, shellfish, and even red meat.

Whereas in the spring, it’s good to eat a light cleansing diet rich in better greens, such as radicchio, dandelion greens, and spinach; and poultry or freshwater fish.

Eating seasonally also makes us more likely to eat foods grown locally, such as apples, pears, and root vegetables in the fall.

The shorter the distance that food has to travel from the farm to the table, the less of its essence will be lost along the way.

The Chinese and Indian systems each have elaborate sets of dietary principles, but you can improve your overall health enormously just by eating foods that are fresh, local, and unprocessed.

spirituality, and spirituality

Choose one spiritual truth and live fully in harmony with it today.

Observe how challenging it is to let your physical life be in concert with your spiritual ideas.
