Oracle and Tarot Cards Spread – May 2011

Spiritual Counseling

a Three-Card Layout

 

 

This spread is taken from Soul Coaching Oracle Cards by Denise Linn.

Simply ask the question or focus on the concern while your hands hover over the cards.

Choose three, place them facedown and side-by-side, then turn them over in order.

 

 

Card 1: What needs to be healed.

This card is called the “Blockage Cards,” and it indicates the area that needs work in order to resolve the problem.

For example, if you receive the cards Courage, this might mean that you’ve been too fearful and should take a few more risks.

If the Love card appears, it could be saying that you need to love and nurture yourself more to achieve resolution of the issue.

 

 

 

Card 2: How to heal the blockage.

The second card is the spiritual tool or “Healing Card” that helps resolve the obstacle.

For example, if the card on the first card was Strength and you find Playfulness in the second cards, this might mean that stepping into your strength can be fun!

That is, you can have pleasure while activating and accepting your own inner strengths or not being overwhelmed by the power of others.

Or, if the challenge on the first card is Joy and the Healing Card in the second card is Silence, this might mean that you’re taking life too seriously and not allowing yourself to experience happiness.

 This may be telling you to take the time to be still, get away from the hustle and bustle of life, and allow joy to gently enter into your heart.

 

 

Card 3: Future Outcome

The last card is the future outcome of the situation if you follow the advice that was given in the first two cards.

For example, if the Blockage Card is Passion, the Healing Card is Surrender, and the Future Card is Abundance, this might mean that if you surrender to passion, you’ll reap abundance in the future.

Enthusiasm

“I celebrate everything in my life,

and I live in limitless joy!”

 

 

Card meaning:

Embrace life with excitement, and celebrate even the smallest victories!

Let your childlike exuberance radiate to others — this isn’t the time to be cool or reserved.

Find joy in the ordinary events of life, and discover what’s great about today!

 

Your Soul wants you to know:

It’s easy to think that you’ll be enthusiastic once your dreams have become reality; however, the fastest way to manifestation is to be joyous about what you already have.

As a direct result of your unabashed excitement, you’ll start to see miracles in your life and in the lives of those around you.

Additionally, enthusiasm is a direct path to vibrant health: it helps improve your immune system and sends a message to your body that it’s vital, healthy, and strong.

Light

“My light radiates through my life

Card meaning:

You are the light, and you come from the light!

You illuminate the world, so rejoice and remember who you are.

You have a physical form, but that’s impermanent.

At your source, you’re luminescent!

Lighten up … don’t take things too seriously.

 

 

Your Soul wants you to know:

Now is the time for you to shine and remember who you are and where you came from.

Your essence is radiant light!

This is a good time to clear clutter — get rid of anything that you don’t love or use.

Clear out physical, emotional, and mental junk in order to make space for you to shine even brighter.

Truth

“I live my truth!”

 

 

Card meaning:

Find your truth.

Be honest with yourself and speak your heart.

“Walk your talk,” and follow your inner guidance in all activities.

You are the truth.

Listen for what is sincere and honest in others.

 

 

Your Soul wants you to know:

Often the hardest thing about living your truth is knowing what that is.

There’s a place inside of you that always knows what’s true for you and what isn’t.

Sometimes it takes sincere silence and deep stillness to find that voice, but once you do discover it, let go of anything in your life that isn’t authentic.

Release relationships that don’t empower you and situations in which you find yourself being less than honest for fear of being judged or not accepted.

Miracles follow when you take the time to be genuine!

Compassion

“The vibration of compassion

Card meaning:

You’re a deeply compassionate being.

Allow the light of your goodwill to shine to the world.

Accept the care that the Creator has for you.

You’re loved and immensely lovable.

Your Soul wants you to know:

True compassion starts with yourself.

Gently, lovingly, and unconditionally accept yourself just as you are.

It isn’t necessary to be perfect, and there’s no one that you need to please but your higher self.

The more you can release judgments and negative beliefs about yourself, the more true compassion you’ll have for others.

Be gentle with yourself and cherish who you really are.

It’s time to release guilt and shame because they no longer serve you.

Forgive yourself and others.

Anytime you notice a negative thought about yourself crop up, immediately replace it with a positive one.

Now is the time to be impeccable in your responsibilities, relationships, and home environment.

Gather your discipline and integrity around you like a sacred cloak.

No matter what it takes, maintain your power, intent, and focus.

Pay attention to details.

Your Soul wants you to know:

This isn’t the time to be lackadaisical or whimsical.

This calls for discipline, focus, truthfulness, and certitude.

Hone your skills, don’t speak unnecessarily, and pay great attention to details.

See what needs to be done; and do it effectively, swiftly, and with a nobility of heart.

You’ll reap immense rewards for doing this now.

You aren’t here to be ordinary, but to step beyond limitations and self-imposed boundaries.

Don’t allow yourself to be trapped by convention or the expectations of others.

You have the ability to choose your life on your terms.

Replace the phrase “I should” with “I could, but I choose not to at this time.”

Perhaps you aren’t always free to create the exact circumstances of your life — but you’re certainly able to decide what meaning to give those situations.

Flow

Card meaning:

It’s time to let go.

You’re entering a period of  gracious ease and flow.

All is unfolding perfectly and with good timing.

Everything is falling into place because you aren’t resisting the drift of the great river of life.

Your Soul wants you to know:

When you’re in a state of flow, you aren’t pushing the river to go faster, and you aren’t swimming against it.

You just let go of the shore and enjoy the ride.

A Native American saying is: “It’s best to ride the horse the direction that it’s going.”

If you aren’t feeling the smooth currents of life, it might mean that you’re trying to control situations in your life, or you’re being self-critical or judgmental.
